Week 13: Tom McDonald & Shawn O’Brien chop it!
Everyone knows who Tom McDonald is! After crushing the Hard Rock Main last week Tom has decided he’s not satisfied unless he wins. Following is what went down week 13 leading to Tom & Shawn McDonald chopping first.
Early at the feature table Dave Bennett’s 2 pair was dominated by Mike Gascard Collins’ set of Queens!
Round two, Gascard was all in short at 200/300 for 9200, Dave, back at the feature table again, called. Gascard rivered the club flush after Dave flopped the heart flush draw.
Finally Dave was in the right place at the right time & tripled up through Hugh Mayes & Aaron Thivyanathan.

After narrowing it down from four tables to one we finally had our Final Table!

Tom McDonald & Shawn o’Brien chopped 1st! Shawn jumps up to 10th on the leaderboard and Tom McDonald is now 2nd! Ray Mancini maintains his lead in 1st place!
We are still on track for 9 Main Event seats and with 7 weeks left and 98 final table points available no one is out of it! Ray leads with 72 points and it will be hard to push him out of a seat!
