The Ryan Harfouch Show: Week 4 Winner, Now Tied for the League Lead!

Week 4 belonged to one man. “Run Good Ryan” Harfouch was our week 4 winner! Shocking, I know! Ryan cashed the WSOP Main Event for the league this summer and made the deepest run – $40k on day 5! We also had a huge turnout this week with 54 entries that built a $4,320 prize pool, with $1,595 to the winner, $1,080 for 2nd, $780 for 3rd, $520 for 4th, and $345 for 5th. Thanks as always to our subs, Dan Johnson for Evan, Ned Wright for Tammy Leonard, and Brian Montgomery for Dugg Hadden, for keeping the tables full. Here’s how the final table went down, hand by hand:

The final table in order of finish was:
8/20 League
1.Run Good Ryan Harfouch
2.James McKinnon
3.Bob Kalteau
4.Larry Legend
5.Craig Rice
6.Tim Chakos
7.Ryan Johnson
8.Tony Pellegrini (sub for Mitch Smith)
9.Jason Barnett
With four weeks in the books, here’s where things stand. Jason Palacios/Cy Frederick and Ryan Harfouch are knotted up at the top with 27 points each – Jason/Cy built theirs early with a week 1 chop and a week 3 3rd, while Ryan’s week 4 win just vaulted him into a share of the lead. Jay Capitano/Josh Nicholson sit at 26, riding their week 2 win and a week 3 4th. Evan Pantano holds 4th with 18 points off a red-hot week 3 win (with Dan Johnson subbing in at the table). Keith Loftus rounds out the top 5 on the strength of his own week 1 chop. A three-way tie for 6th at 16 points has James McKinnon (fresh off a week 4 runner-up finish), Kevin James (a week 2 2nd), and Lee Tran/Don Brown (a week 3 2nd) all bunched together. Jason Barnett sits 9th with 15, and David Smith rounds out the top 10 at 14 off an early week 1 3rd. Four weeks in and it’s still anyone’s season!
And don’t forget – even if you don’t lock up a seat through the regular season standings, you’ll still get a shot at the $10,000 WSOP Main Event or WPT Championship package at our season-end tournament. Every week still matters! Thanks to everyone who came out! If you’ve played a week or two and you’re still on the fence about staying you can still qualify if you meet the 15 of 18 weeks requirement (including allowed subs) so as long as you meet that criteria and get your League fee to Jason Barnett you can still play this season.
