Week 11: Maribeth Hilliard & Robert Kalteux Split the Pot — And the Leaderboard Shakes Up!
Four subs stepped in for Week 11 — Sherry for Mike R, Chrissy for Craig R, Dan J for Ray M, and Ned for Tammy — and once again, the substitutes helped write one of the wilder final tables of the season! Aces got cracked, big hands collided again and again, and it all came down to two players who weren’t even in the top 20 of the standings a week ago deciding to split the title instead of flipping for it. Here’s how Week 11 went down:

Robert Kalteux QT>AK Rob F
Rob Fulton 9th

Bobby C AA>A7hh Chrissy
Chrissy Holubeck (Craig) 8th

Dan J JJ>99 Jack F
Jack Feeney 6th

Maribeth AJ>A5 Larry L
Larry Legend 5th

Rob K 99>AJ Bobby C
Bobby Cornette 4th

Rob K A8>K4 Dan J (Ray M)
Dan Johnson 3rd

Once it was down to two players Robert Kalteux and Maribeth Hilliard decided to chop it up!
The final table in order of finish was:
- MB Hilliard/ Robert Kalteux
- Chop
- Dan Johnson (Ray Mancini)
- Bobby Cornette
- Larry Legend
- Jack Feeney
- Keith Loftus
- Chrissy Holubeck (Craig Rice)
- Rob Fulton
What a final table! Between Bobby Cornette’s Aces getting run down, Robert Kalteux grinding through hand after hand, and Maribeth Hilliard closing it out with a chop instead of a flip, Week 11 delivered start to finish. And the leaderboard felt it — Maribeth Hilliard/Aaron Thivyanathan’s team rocketed from outside the top 20 all the way up to 10th, and Robert Kalteux made the exact same leap into 13th, both off that chop win. Up top, Andra Zachow holds onto the #1 spot, but it’s getting crowded back there — Jay Capitano/Josh Nicholson’s team, Ryan Harfouch, and a surging Ray Mancini (thanks to sub Dan Johnson’s deep run tonight) are all bunched within a point of each other chasing her down. See everyone next week!
