Raising the Stakes: Week 4 Heats Up at the Elite Tampa Bay Poker League with a chop between Janice Hulbert and Anthony Pellegrini (sub)!

The cards were hot and the action even hotter as the Elite Tampa Bay Poker League rolled into its fourth week of thrilling play. With the summer sun beating down outside, players from across Tampa Bay gathered to test their skills and nerve at the felt. This week saw a mix of familiar faces and fresh challengers, all vying for the top spot and a chance to climb the season leaderboard. From calculated bluffs to jaw-dropping river cards, Week 4 had it all. Let’s dive into the highlights and see who managed to stack their chips and their reputation in this latest round of high-stakes action. A new player, Will McMillan, joined this final week of registration. Registration is now closed and it looks like we have settled on 38 players (of course with rebuys it puts us into 40+ entries each week). It looks like we are on course, depending on participation, to have 8+ seats this season!! Just remember, you could go 1/2 a season without a final table and still win a seat by the end! It’s happened a few times!

Following are hands throughout the evening:

Evan Vancavage was all in after inadvertantly throwing in a green chip instead of pink & Sean Carmichael put him the rest of the way in.

Liang Berninger, playing for Clive Gavin this week, jammed after a big raise by Janice. She had a set of threes! Ouch!

Liang>Ryan Johnson for most of his chips

Liang hit Broadway on the river sending Andra to the rail. She said “Well that sucks” as she left the table.

Ed VanLandingham Final tabled with 10k! Final tables mean a lot in a WSOP League! Players receive one point for attendance and additional points based on their final table standing.
