Weeks 14 through 17: Evan & Will, Nick, Sam, Nick & Ray get wins/chops!!! 9 Players still racing for seats, 4 players have locked up seats! HUGE GAME THURSDAY!!!!
This coming week is the end of season of the Elite Tampa Bay Poker League and, as in past seasons, we have a lot of players in the mix to win a coveted $10K seat to either the WSOP Main or the WPT Wynn $10K!!! We have a three way tie for sixth place with 65 points: Evan Vancavage, Ray Mancini, and Sean Carmichael. Team Nick & Bob Scholz have 73 points in 5th, and the top four have locked up their seats as no one can push them out. Team Janice Hulbert/Herb Woodbery are untouchable in 1st with 109 points!!! Team Aaron Thivyanathan/Juan Rodriguez follow with 95 points, Sam Ronalds has 84 points and David Smith rounds out the top 4 with 80 points.
Due to being so close to eight seats we’re considering the possibility of remaining funds going toward a prorated $10K seat (ie. league maybe gets a little less % or some sort of chop for the bottom winners all to be determined after this final week of play). We’ve never been this close to that final seat before so it makes more sense as $10K seats are the goal versus small packages. We are counting on our winners to win big in the WSOP Main or WPT Wynn $10K so our league members 10% share has some good value!
If no funds carried to a Losers lounge we can determine Thursday if we will play one this season.
The new Spring Season will start up January 2nd, we are anticipating that we will duplicate or surpass the 9 seats we awarded last Spring, it’s the most popular season as it leads up to the WSOP Main Event and should be 20 weeks as long as no more natural disasters!

REMEMBER: All League members must play 15 of 18 weeks AND 3 of the last 5 weeks to be eligible to participate in the League’s 10% share of the winners’ proceeds from their $10K WSOP or WPT events. We have some amazing players and are expecting them to win BIG!!!
