Chops, Climbers & $60K on the Table, Vancavage and Harfouch Shake Up the Week 12 Standings

A late-night chop between Evan Vancavage and Ryan Harfouch turned the Week 12 leaderboard upside down, and when the dust settled the Elite Tampa Bay Poker League’s Winter/Spring 2026 season looked a whole lot more interesting. Twelve weeks in, sixty thousand dollars collected, and not a single seat locked up yet — with eight Thursdays left and a tightly packed bubble, the race for WSOP Main Event seats is wide open from top to bottom.

Week 12 is in the books and with eight weeks left, the WSOP seat race is getting real. Saif Keshwani remains at the top with 64 points but his cushion keeps shrinking — Evan Pantano is right on his heels at 60 after another solid finish, and Josh Nicholson and Jay Capitano made a big move with a third-place finish to jump all the way to third overall at 57 points. The night belonged to a two-way chop between Evan Vancavage and Ryan Harfouch, both of whom climbed into the top eight with the split — Vancavage moves to a tie for 4th at 56 and Harfouch vaults into a tie for 7th at 48, making him one of the hottest players in the room over the past few weeks. Maribeth Hilliard also had a nice night, finishing 5th to crack the top 10 and sitting solidly at 10th with 41 points. Just outside the bubble, Billy McPhillips and Jordan Joekel moved up to 11th with a 7th-place finish, and the pack from 11th through 17th is tightly bunched between 32 and 37 points — any big week can flip the leaderboard. With $60,200 in total funds, the 8–9 seat projection looks strong. Remember, attendance matters — players must play 17 of 20 weeks, so if you’ve missed three nights you need to be in that seat every Thursday from here on out or have a sub. And don’t forget, even if the points don’t fall your way, there’s still a Last Chance Tournament seat up for grabs at season’s end – the Friday immediately after sesason end. See you at the felt!
