TBEPL Players represent in the First Ever WSOP Circuit Event in Tampa Bay!

Many TBEPL Players and alumni were at the Hard Rock in Tampa over the last two weeks and, using the skills learned in the TBEPL, some cashed!

One player, Andrea Ruosi, represented the league in the Main using his minor even seat won in the fall for his entry with league approval due to a conflict with Vegas this

summer.  The league held a 15% interest in Andrea and when he cashed 135th of 1,162 players the fall league members earned $400 (total).  Andrea also entered day two of the opening event, the $600 $500K guarantee ring event with the #5 chip stack.   Other current league members cashed including Bill McKown (54th) and Ed Vanlandingham (130th).

Jason Barnett played the $400 Turbo ring event Saturday night and finished 6th out of a field of 247.

Rob Benford cashed 39th of 500+ in the Seniors event.

Alum Chris Hyden is headed to day 3 of the Main Event!

Andra Zachow and league alum Mark Wiser won one of the satellites into the Main but her short stack specialist skills and his extensive experience did not help this time.

Other familiar faces seen and some cashing included Steve Trizis, Matt Trizis, Stan Holley, Fil Khavin (who finished 9th in the opening event for $18K+), Dave Bennett, Aaron Thivyanathan, Alan Thomas, and Mark Winchell.

Great job to all who cashed and to those who didn’t – this was great practice for Vegas this summer!
